These seedling baby bulbs are a minimum of 6 months old..  

This listing is for 1 seedling cross baby bulb of a very rare combination.  And could turn out like either parent or a combination of the two. (more likely)  Either way, you will get beautiful flowers.   I have never seen an ugly hippeastrum flower 🙂

‘Yungacence X Papilio’ cross seedlings, I can imagine the flowers from this cross being  more vibrant than the ‘Papilio’, and finer in the petals.
But in nature anything is possible..

Hippeastrums can flower from September to December. They will take about 3 years to mature and flower.  At that stage they have grown into large bulbs are tough and do well on neglect, even handle drought,  but you do get better flowers with deep well-drained soil in a moist environment, out of the frost.  Plants flourish when given morning sun and afternoon shade, but grow in almost any environment. This is a very cheap way to get what are otherwise quite expensive bulbs.
